Description

Lloyds Bank is an early 19th-century building located at No. 24 Mercer Row. It is five storeys tall and constructed of brick, topped with a new pantile roof. The building features paired brackets at the eaves and a wood blocking course. There are four windows with segmental painted arches that include keystones, wood surrounds, and hung sashes with glazing bars. A stucco band separates the first and second floors. The ground floor serves as a bank shop and has three windows, dating from the early 20th century. No. 24 is part of a visual group with Nos 28 to 34 (even).
