Description
The lodge to Bardon Hall is a mid-19th century building constructed from Charnwood granite rubble, featuring ashlar dressings and a Swithland slate roof. It has a central ashlar chimney stack with offsets and wooden bargeboards adorned with finials. The lodge is a single storey, with the main block oriented north-south and gabled projections on the east and west sides. The west projection includes a six-panelled door situated beneath a gabled hood supported by brackets. The north front features a central canted bay window, and the casement windows are fitted with lozenge-patterned glazing bars.
