Description
No. 81 is a small house located on Main Street, dating from the early 19th century and refurbished in the 20th century. It features a red brick construction with a thatched roof, complemented by 20th-century ornamental bargeboards with wooden finials and brick chimneys. The right gable end includes some granite rubble. The house is one and a half storeys tall and consists of two bays. The windows are horizontal sashes with glazing bars, including a three-light window on the ground floor and a two-light window to the left of center, which has a thatch eyebrow above it. There is a 20th-century board door located to the right of center, and all ground floor openings have cambered heads. The gable ends have 20th-century barred wooden casements.
