Description
Snarestone Lodge is a house dating from around 1800. It is built of red brick and features cambered lintels, a stone plinth, bands, sills, and a cornice, along with a plain tile roof that has a part parapet and three rebuilt blue brick stacks on the ridge, sides, and ends. The building has two storeys, with a wide two-storey segmental bow that includes two 6/6 sash windows and a 20th-century porch to the left, which contains a possibly earlier six-panelled door with an impost band and a radiating fanlight. The right side of the front is rendered and has four 6/6 sash windows above a blocked window, as well as a tripartite window arrangement consisting of a 2/2, a 6/6, and another 2/2 sash. To the left, it adjoins Snarestone Lodge Farmhouse, while the rear of the lodge is of lesser interest.
