Description

Home Farmhouse is a house, formerly a farmhouse, dating to 1835. It is located on Broughton Church Lane and Old Dalby. The house is built of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a slate roof and brick end stacks. It has a T-shaped plan, and is two storeys high with a three-window front. The central entrance features a six-panel, partially glazed door with an overlight, set within a gabled brick porch. The porch has a doorway with chamfered sandstone, a four-centred head, quoins, and a sandstone-coped gable with kneelers and a finial. The ground and first floors have three-light casement windows with flat-arched heads on the left and right sides. A similar two-light window is on the first floor in the centre. Stone-coped gables with kneelers are also present.
