Description
Debdale House is a house that was formerly a farmhouse, dated 1723, with alterations and extensions made in the 20th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond with flared headers and features a slate roof, along with brick ridge and end stacks. The building is L-shaped, two stories high with an attic. The entrance has a 20th-century door with a flat-arched brick head, and there are 20th-century windows that likely replaced earlier sash windows, some of which have flat-arched brick heads and are rendered. A notable feature is a 2-light sliding sash window located in the gable of the return wing, which has a similar head. The entrance range includes a timber beam dated 1723 above the middle first-floor window. The house also has an ironstone plinth, storey bands, and brick-coped gables. The interior has not been inspected.
