Description
Shoby House is an early 19th-century farmhouse. It is constructed of red brick laid in a Flemish bond pattern, with a hipped roof covered in Swithland slate and brick internal stacks. The house has a double-depth plan and is arranged over three storeys, with a three-window front. The central entrance features a six-panel door with an overlight, set in a recessed surround and topped with a segmental arch. The ground and first floors have sixteen-pane sash windows, while the second floor has eight-pane sashes. All the windows have segmental-arched heads and painted stone sills. Bracketed wooden eaves are also present. The interior has not been inspected.
