Description
Church Farmhouse, formerly listed as Church Farmhouse, is a house that was originally a farmhouse. It dates from the early 18th century and has been altered in the 19th century and extended in the 20th century. The building is constructed of red brick in stretcher bond with random headers and features a Swithland slate roof and a brick ridge stack.
It is a two-storey structure with a three-window range. The ground and first floors have 19th-century horned sash windows with flat-arched brick heads. There is a brick plinth, a storey band, and brick-coped gables. At the rear left, there is a wing, and a 20th-century extension is located in the re-entrant angle. The interior has not been inspected.
