Description
Church Farmhouse is a former farmhouse dating from the early 19th century, although it has older origins. It is constructed of red brick in stretcher bond and features a slate roof with brick end and ridge stacks. The building has a 3-unit plan and is two stories high with a three-window range. To the left of the center, there is a six-panel door with a moulded wood surround set in a gabled barge-boarded timber porch. The windows exhibit irregular fenestration, consisting of one, two, and three-light casements with segmental-arched heads. A small one-light window is located in the center of the first floor and has a pointed arched head. There is a straight joint near the right end of the building, which includes some ironstone quoins. To the right, there is a lower two-story, one-window range with a pantile roof, a six-panel door, and a three-light casement window, both featuring segmental-arched heads, along with a one-light casement on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
