Description

The stable block, located 10 meters north-west of Bescaby House, dates from the mid-18th century and is now used as garaging. It is constructed of coursed ironstone with a pantile roof and stands two storeys high. The central double timber doors are flanked by two pedestrian doors, all of which are set under segmental brick heads. To the right, there is a casement window and door, while to the left, there is one casement window. On the first floor, there are two windows, and to the left under the eaves, there is a mural dovecote featuring 13 brick boxes. The roof is gabled and the roof structure includes tie beams, principals, one tier of butt purlins, and collars.
