Description
The bridge between the upper and lower lakes, located 1350 metres southeast of Belvoir Castle, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of limestone and ironstone and features five four-centred arches with cutwaters between them. Each arch rises to create chamfered piers that support the parapet. Long retaining walls connect the bridge to each bank, and it also functions as a weir.
