Description

No. 2 South Parade is a building dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of painted brick and features a band at the second floor sill, a moulded eaves cornice, and a coped blocking course. The building has a slate roof and stands three storeys tall. The second floor has one window, which is a three-light sash with glazing bars. The first floor features a canted bay with a cornice and glazing bars, while the ground floor has a modern shop front. There is a passage entrance located under the east side of the facade. Nos 1 to 6 South Parade form a group with The Bell Hotel and No. 4 Nottingham Street.
