Description

This barn, dated 1725, is located approximately 15 meters southeast of Holme Leigh House on the west side of High Street in Great Easton. It is constructed from coursed rubble stone with quoins and features a corrugated asbestos roof. The gables are stone coped and include kneelers. The barn has a blank wall facing the road, while the right end displays a first-floor, two-light stone mullion window with a hood mould. Above this window is a stone tablet inscribed with 'E.A.W. 1725'. The rear of the barn includes two stable doors and two windows.
