Description

No. 2 Little Lunnun is a cottage, likely built in the early 18th century. The exterior is rendered over mud and features a thatched roof. It has a small two-unit plan and is one and a half storeys tall. The central door is flanked by three-light casement windows, and there is a recent canted bay window on the gable wall. Above, an eyebrow dormer contains a two-light casement window. The cottage has an axial stack and inside, there is a crudely chamfered spine beam and a single surviving roof truss, while the other truss has likely been replaced with brick in the 19th century. The surviving truss has curved principals. There are 20th-century additions to the rear that are not of special interest.
