Description
Walton Hall is a house dating from the early 18th century, with additions from the early 19th century and the 20th century. It is constructed of brick, with some stone, and is now rendered with slate roofs and three gabled stacks. The house is arranged in an L-shape. It has an eaves cornice with paired brackets.
The west front has five bays. The central doorway is accessed via a 19th-century Tuscan porch with two columns, a cornice, and a parapet. The doorway has 20th-century part-glazed double doors with an overlight. To the left and right of the doorway are pairs of glazing-bar sashes with panelled awning boxes. Above, there are five glazing-bar sashes.
The south return wing has two bays. It includes two 2-light casements, and a large 19th-century tripartite sash window above. To the left is a 20th-century garage extension. All the windows have flat arches and stone sills.
