Description
New Farmhouse is a house dating from the mid 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick, which is now rendered, and features a slate roof with two gable stacks and one ridge stack. The building has two storeys and an attic.
The north front has a first-floor band and a dentilled cornice, with five bays. The off-centre doorway is framed by a 19th-century doorcase that has a flat hood supported by brackets, leading to a six-panel door with a traceried fanlight above. To the right of the doorway is a single two-light casement window with a cambered arch. To the left, there are three similar windows followed by a small 20th-century window. Above these, there are three similar two-light casements. Additionally, there is a single-storey extension to the left.
