Description

The railings and walls surrounding the churchyard of St. Andrew were built in 1866 by Joseph Goddard of Leicester. They are made of cast iron and red and dark blue brick. The front of the churchyard facing High Street features elaborate cast iron railings set on a brick plinth, consisting of seven sections and a pair of gates, all painted black and gold in a Gothic style. Surrounding the churchyard is a brick wall approximately 1.5 meters high, which is decorated in part with dark blue brick.
