Description
Crox Farmhouse is a house dated 1673, which was mostly rebuilt in the 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and has a Welsh slate roof that is hipped to the left, featuring brick ridge and end stacks. The building has an L-shaped plan, with a wing projecting to the rear on the left side. It stands two storeys high and has four casement windows on the upper floor: three are centre-opening and three-light, while the centre left window is a two-light. On the ground floor, there is a 20th-century five-light canted bay window on either side of a six-panelled door with glazed top panels. There is also a one-light window on the right end. Inside, the farmhouse features a moulded ceiling beam dated 1673, an inglenook with a hood, and part of a tie-beam truss with a curved principal is also visible.
