Description

This milepost, located approximately 400 yards north of Coopers Lane on the west side of Lutterworth Road in Dunton Bassett, dates from the early 19th century. It is made of cast iron and features a triangular base with a curved cap. The milepost displays distances to Lutterworth, which is 4 miles away, and Leicester, which is 11 miles away.
