Description

Mile post from the 19th century, made of painted cast iron. It has a triangular shape with a flattened top and features inscriptions indicating distances: 25 miles to Leicester, 6 miles to Uppingham, and 8 miles to Wansford. The mile post is located nearly opposite the layby at Coppice Leys.
