It is constructed of coursed rubble stone with quoins and stone dressings, and has a Collyweston slate roof with moulded stone end stacks and a wing ridge stack. The left gable has a stone cope. The main front has three storeys with two three-light stone mullion windows on each floor, some of which have been restored, and a single-light mullion window to the left on the two lower floors. A lower two-storey wing to the left has a 20th-century stone doorway and a three-light stone mullion window above, all with hood moulds. A large extension was added in 1981, extending to the left of this wing. A stone tablet on the front wall is inscribed with the date 1630 and the text "Ano. Dmi. 1630: Our life paseth awaie like a shado'”. A stone tablet on the rear reads "Sine timore domini omnia vanitas". Inside, there is an inglenook and a stone fireplace with a Tudor arch.
