Description

Mile post dating from the 19th century. It is made of painted cast iron and has a triangular shape with a flattened top. The post is inscribed with the text 'South Luffenham: To Stamford 6 miles: To Uppingham 6 miles.' It is located near the railway line between the crossroads and Foster's Bridge.
