Description

The School is a house that was formerly a school, built in the late 19th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone with stone dressings and features a Collyweston slate roof, which has an ashlar central ridge and left end stacks. The building has stone-coped gables and is designed in a lancet style. To the right, there is a gable, while the porch is located to the left. The structure has one storey with three pairs of cusped lancet windows in the center, and two tall lancets in the gable. Above these, there is a quatrefoil opening, and at the apex of the gable, there is a stone gabled bellcote with a bell. The left side features a gabled porch with an arch and a shaft on either side. The building is adorned with hood moulds and label stops throughout, and it has similar windows on both ends.
