Description
The Old School House is a house that was formerly a school, dated 1858. It is constructed from coursed rubble stone, featuring a plinth and stone dressings, and has a Collyweston slate roof with a moulded stone stack at the right end. The building has stone coped gables with kneelers and is 1½ storeys high, with three 3-light stone mullion windows. There is a 20th-century 3-light dormer above. A stone tablet on the left end is inscribed with the names of benefactors and the year 1858, while the door is located at the right end. This building is included for its group value.
