Description

There are two gate piers from the 18th century located on either side of Old Hall Avenue in North Luffenham. These piers, made of moulded stone, stand approximately 3 meters high and feature moulded cornices. They are situated about 50 meters apart and are associated with the Old Hall, which was demolished in 1806. It is likely that these piers were moved from their original locations due to road widening. They are included in the listing for their group value.
