Description
Sycamore Cottage is a cottage that was originally two separate dwellings, dating from the 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone with quoins and features a Welsh slate roof, which has two stone ridge stacks and a brick stack on the left end. The building has an L-shaped plan, with a wing that projects forward on the right side.
The cottage is two storeys high and has casement windows. On the left side, there are two 2-light windows, with a 2-light window and a 1-light window above them. A door is located in the angle of the structure. There is a lean-to on the return of the wing, which includes a 20th-century window and a 2-light casement. The front of the wing features a 2-light window and a glazed door, with another 2-light window above.
