Description
Church Farmhouse is a house dating from around 1700. It is built of coursed rubble stone with quoins and features a thatch roof, which has a brick ridge and end stacks. The stone-coped gable faces the front to the left, while the rear of the house looks towards the Church of St. Nicholas. The building has two storeys and includes four casement windows on the first floor: three are three-light windows and one is a two-light window located in the centre right. The ground floor has a similar arrangement of windows, but instead of the two-light window, there is a door set within a small 20th-century stone gabled porch. The doorway on the far left has been blocked and replaced with a two-light window. On the left end of the house, there is a one-storey extension that is likely from the 18th century. At the rear, there are three two-light casements and a door, with two additional two-light windows above, all of which are from the 20th century.
