Description
Longhill Farmhouse and Barn is a house and barn from the early 19th century. The structure is built from granite and slate rubble stone, featuring red brick dressings and a Swithland slate roof with a brick central ridge, as well as left end and rear right stacks. The farmhouse has two storeys with two sets of three-light horizontal sliding sash windows above two three-light casements, all with cambered lintels. There is a door to the left. Attached to the left end is a two-storey extension, likely a former cottage, which has a two-light casement above a door and a one-light window. Further left, there is a barn with a door, and both the extension and barn have cambered lintels on their ground floors. On the right end of the farmhouse, there is a two-light casement with a cambered lintel and a one-light window on the first floor in the return. The rear of the buildings features two gables, each with a two-light casement on both floors and a central door. Overall, the buildings form an unaltered group.
