Description
Outwoods Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 16th or 17th century, originally built with a timber frame and later recased in brick in the 19th century. The exterior is rendered and painted cream, topped with a plain tile roof featuring brick end stacks. The building is two storeys high and has a two-window range, with cambered-headed window openings and three-light 20th-century windows. There is a central porch with an off-centre door. A brick dentil cornice adds detail to the roofline. Inside, the ground floor rooms feature exposed chamfered beams with decorative stops. The farmhouse is part of a group with the nearby farmyard buildings.
