Description

Nos. 50 and 52 on The Green are two cottages dating from the early 18th century. They are constructed of whitewashed granite rubble stone with a brick first floor and a nogged band on the far left. The cottages have a Welsh slate roof featuring brick ridges and end stacks. The buildings are two storeys high and have a total of three 3-light and one 2-light horizontal sliding sash windows. On the ground floor, from left to right, there is a 3-light horizontal sliding sash window, a 1-light casement window, a plank door, a 1-light window, a 3-light window, a 1-light window, a part-glazed door, two 2-light windows, and a small projecting lean-to. Inside, there are beams and a collar trussed roof.
