Description

Gordon House is an early 18th-century house located on the south side of The Green in Mountsorrel. It is constructed of red brick with a granite rubble stone plinth, a brick band, and a moulded cornice, topped with a plain tile roof featuring brick end stacks, one of which is truncated. The building has two storeys and features four 2/2 sash windows on the upper floor and three similar windows on the ground floor, all with painted lintels and sills. The doorcase is positioned to the center left and includes pilasters, a narrow bracketed hood, a six-panelled door, and a three-light overlight.
