Description
This is a monumental tomb located in the churchyard, dating from around 1813, situated approximately 10 yards southeast of the south porch. The tomb is made of sandstone and is mounted on three oval steps. It features a rectangular base with decorated consoles that project at the corners and curved ends that have engaged circular columns. These columns display emblems of the passion and death in high relief, topped with ball finials. Above the base sits a large funerary urn. Slate inscription plates commemorate Elizabeth Beaumont, who died in 1813, John Storer Beaumont, who died in 1835, and others.
