Description
Nos. 35-37 Beveridge Street is an early 18th century house that has been subdivided into two units. The building features a three-bay façade constructed of random granite rubble sitting on a plinth. It has a slate roof, steeply pitched with swithland slate, and brick coping on the left side, along with a gable end stack and an axial ridge stack. The house is tall, with two storeys and an attic.
No. 35 has an off-centre doorway that features a well-crafted three-panelled door. The flush framed windows are fitted with horizontal sliding sashes and contain many small panes. Both doors and windows are topped with stone flat arched heads that have fluted keystones. No. 37 has a modern doorway and wide sash windows that are replacements. The roof includes small gabled dormers. At the rear, there are two two-storey wings made of brick and rubble, and the building is adorned with a dentilled and moulded brick eaves cornice.
