Description
Nook Farmhouse, dating from around 1770, is a brick building now used as a house, featuring a concrete tile roof and cogged eaves. The structure is three storeys high and has an L-shaped plan with three bays. The front of the farmhouse includes a central early 20th-century half-glazed door with a fanlight, flanked by two modern two-light cross casements that have segmental heads. Above this, there is a central cross casement with larger flanking cross casements, and further up, similar smaller windows, all with segmental heads. To the right of the farmhouse is a single-storey coach house topped with a slate pyramidal roof. The rear elevation and rear wing have 20th-century windows. Notably, the east gable of the rear wing has two bricks inscribed with the dates 1702 and 1770.
