Description
This building is a barn, now used as a garage and store, located 5 meters northeast of Manor Farmhouse and adjoining a stable. It dates from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. The east side and south gable are box framed, while the rest of the structure is made of brick, rendered, and whitewashed, topped with a plain tile roof. The stable, which is from the late 19th century, features a plinth on the east side. The barn consists of five bays. On the west side, there are two 20th-century garage doors on the left, with two cross breathers above them. To the right, there is a 20th-century close boarded door with a wooden frame, and above it, a square casement window. The south gable and east side do not have any openings. The stable at the northeast end has a stable door on the west, flanked by single 20th-century casements, and to the right, there is another stable door. Inside, the barn has a queen post truss roof with wind braces, and in the center, there is a pair of curved rafters linked by a saddle. The south end features principal rafters with V struts.
