Description
Ivy House is a house from the early 19th century, with minor additions from the 20th century. It is constructed of red brick with stone dressings and features a hipped plain tile roof, which has a brick stack on the rear wall and a dentilled brick eaves band. The building has three storeys and three bays. A central 20th-century porch with Tuscan columns leads to a six-panelled door that has a divided overlight. On either side of the porch are tall sash windows with glazing bars, set beneath rusticated wedge lintels that have double keystones. Above these, there are three similar sash windows, and above again, three smaller sash windows, all with keystones that rise into the eaves band. The interior of the house does not retain any original features.
