Description

The well head, located on the south side of Station Road in the parish of Melbourne, dates from the 17th century and has been restored in the 20th century. It is constructed of stone and features a sunken design with short walls on three sides. The well head is capped by a large triangular-shaped coping stone that serves as a roof. The south side is open and has moulded edges, along with a stone trough at the base.
