Description

The barn at Trent Farm, dating from the late 18th century, is constructed of red brick and features a plain tile roof with brick coped gables and plain kneelers. The south elevation includes a central segment-headed doorway with a plank door, flanked by three tiers of mostly blocked slit breathers and an additional tier of cross breathers. There is also one upper square opening with a plank door. On the north elevation, a flight of external steps leads up to a segmental doorway with a plank door, accompanied by four tiers of blocked breathers. The interior consists of three bays, with the center divided by low walls, and has a single purlin roof. Ranges attached to the north and west are not of special interest.
