Description

The Brickmakers Arms is an early 19th-century public house. It is constructed of painted brick with a plain tile roof, brick ridge, and gable stacks. A dentil eaves cornice runs along the top of the building. The north elevation has four bays, with the left-hand bay being a later addition. A set of three steps leads to a centrally positioned doorway, framed by a 19th-century doorcase and containing a door. To the right of the doorway is an unequal three-light segment-headed casement window. Two similar windows are located to the left, with the outer one being one pane broader. The first floor has a two-light casement window above the doorway, and three further windows that match those below, all with flat arches.
