Description

Loscoe Farmhouse is a brick farmhouse dating to 1781. It has a hipped plain tile roof and three brick stacks. A dentil eaves cornice runs around the building. The farmhouse is three storeys high and has a chamfered plinth. The east elevation, which faces onto Red Lane, has a central 20th-century pedimented doorcase, flanked by three-light casement windows under wedge brick lintels. Above this are two three-light windows, and above again, three smaller windows of a similar design. A two-storey lean-to bay has been added to the left-hand side. The west elevation features 20th-century windows. Inside, there is an open string stick baluster staircase with a ramped handrail. Two late 18th-century chimneypieces are located in first-floor rooms.
