Description

This is a farm outbuilding located to the east of the Gardener's House in Renishaw Park, Eckington. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed from coursed squared coal measures sandstone, featuring quoins and a hipped slated roof. The south elevation has five bays, each with a stilted semi-circular arch that rises to the eaves level, supported by square ashlar piers. Originally, this building served as an open-fronted hovel or cart shed. It is listed for its group value.
