Description

This is a road bridge located south of Wash Farmhouse, dated 1846. It is constructed from coursed squared gritstone and features flat copings on its parapet walls. The bridge has a single arch with a semicircular shape, made up of dressed voussoirs, and is flanked by shallow parapet walls that also have roughly dressed flat copings. The abutments are curved and splayed, and the bridge spans the River Amber.
