Description
Hockerley Hall Farmhouse is an old stone farmhouse, likely dating from the 17th century, located on the side of a hill overlooking Whaley Bridge. It has an irregular plan and is built over two storeys with coursed stone and a stone slate roof. The left gable end features ball finials and there are two chimney stacks. The facade includes two windows with three lights, supported by stone mullions, above two sets of three mullion lights and one set of two. There is a stone gabled porch adorned with three ball finials, which has a blocked window above it. To the right, there is a gable with one window of three mullion lights situated above another window of three lights, which may have repaired mullions. A pentice is present on the side, and there is also a window of three lights on the gable end.
