Description

Nos 19 to 23 on Old Road is a late 18th-century former farmhouse and outbuildings, now converted into dwellings. The building is two storeys high, constructed from coursed stone with larger stones used at the quoins, and features a Welsh slate roof with three chimney stacks. There are four windows with modern casements; two of these are three-light windows with modern mullions, and two are six-light windows with modern wood mullions and transoms. On the ground floor, there are three windows with six mullion and transom lights, along with two doors, one of which has a modern wood porch. The three structures likely correspond to the original farmhouse and barn. There is also a blocked and a partially blocked door opening, as well as a former stable that is a single storey in a penticed outbuilding to the right.
