Description

Manor House is an early 18th-century house constructed of brick with ashlar dressings, featuring a plain tile hipped roof and two brick ridge stacks. The building is two storeys high and has a moulded stone eaves cornice.

The west elevation consists of five bays, with the three central bays protruding and set beneath a pediment. The central doorway has a rusticated surround with projecting imposts and a keystone, and it contains a 20th-century door and fanlight. On either side of the doorway are glazing bar sash windows, also with projecting keystones. The outer bays have similar windows. The stone framing around the doorway extends up to the first-floor glazing bar sash window, which is topped with a flat cornice on brackets. Below this window, there is a balustrade and a lugged architrave. In the pediment, there is a Diocletian window with a stone surround.

The east elevation features three bays, with a central doorway that has a rusticated stone surround, keystones around the arch, and a pediment. The panelled door has glazed upper lights and is flanked by glazing bar sash windows with keystones. Above, there are two similar windows and a central window with a lugged stone architrave and a triple keystone. The stone surrounds of the doorway and upper window are linked to create a cohesive feature.

The north and south elevations are plain with two bays each, featuring glazing bar sash windows with keystones and dormer windows. On the north side, the lower windows have been converted into doorways with square lights above.
