Description
Vine House, located at No 15 Church Street, is a late 18th-century building constructed of red brick. It features double bands at the ground and first-floor lintel heights, along with moulded plaster eaves. The building has an old tiled roof with stone gabled ends supported by large kneelers. It stands three storeys high with a basement and has five unbarred windows that include plain keyblocks and painted flat brick arches. A stuccoed Roman Doric cornice hood with pillars is present above the entrance, which is accessed by steps. The original iron railings have been replaced. Vine House is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 15 (odd) and The Corner House.
