Description

This is an early 19th-century brick-built house on Church Street. It is three storeys high with a symmetrical three-window front. The brickwork is complemented by moulded plaster eaves and old tiles. The windows are topped with moulded keyblocks and lintels. A stuccoed, Roman arched doorcase has a moulded archivolt. Originally, the passage entrance on the west side had a glazed segmental head, now boarded behind an iron fanlight. Numbers 1 to 15 (the odd numbers) and The Corner House form a prominent group.
