Description

No. 7 Church Street is a mid-18th century building constructed of red brick with a coped roof covered in old tiles. It stands three storeys high and features three unbarred windows that have plain keyblocks and painted flat brick arches. There are brick bands at the lintel height of the first and second floors. The entrance is highlighted by a stuccoed doorcase with pilasters and an engraved surround that includes triglyphs on the frieze, guttae, and a shallow cornice, along with steps leading up to it. Additionally, there is an advanced one-light wing with an arch underneath. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 15 (odd) and The Corner House.
