Description

The Croft is a house dating from the 1870s, constructed of red brick with sandstone dressings and a Welsh slate roof. It has lateral brick stacks. The north elevation features three bays. The recessed central bay contains a doorway with a stone surround and a Caernarvon arch, leading to a 19th-century half-glazed door. Above the door is a segmental pointed arched window with a returned hoodmould. A roof dormer with a half-hipped roof sits above the window. Matching gable bays flank the central bay, incorporating flush quoins, a first-floor band, and fretted bargeboards. A canted bay window extends across the ground floor of the left bay, with the lights featuring Caernarvon arches. Above the canted bay is a single window with a segmental pointed arch and returned hoodmoulds. A further window above has quatrefoil tracery and returned hoodmoulds. Brick garden walls are attached to the north side, with iron railings running along the road. The property is listed for group value only.
