Description
The lychgate and churchyard wall to the Church of the Holy Trinity were built in 1914, with a clock added in 1924. The lychgate is constructed from coursed squared rock-faced sandstone, sandstone ashlar, and timber, featuring a plain tile roof and a bell turret topped with a pyramidal lead roof. The wall has a batter and chamfered copings. The upper part of the lychgate is timber, with gable ends designed as a queen post truss. The churchyard wall is attached to the east and encircles the church. This structure is listed for its group value only.
